KIRAITU MURUNGI insults arts and humanity students

Meru Senator, Kiraitu Murungi, while addressing the Senate on Tuesday said college and university students studying arts and humanity courses are wasting their time. The Meru Senator urged Uhuru/ Ruto’s Jubilee Government not to waste money giving HELB loans and scholarships to humanity students because it is a total waste of public resources and time; instead they should pay for their own school fees. “Students should not be given scholarship and loans to study humanities; they should take care of themselves because what we need in this country are engineers and scientists to move Kenya forward not Pastors or historians”, said Murungi.
