How To Hibernate Windows 8 or 8.1 PC

Initially, when you find out Hibernate option in your Windows 8 PC, then you might think that it is lack of this feature, but it’s not true. You can Hibernate your Windows 8 or 8.1 very simply. To do so, you need to enable Hibernate option to be shown in the power options so that you can hibernate your PC quickly.
Here, I’ve compiled very simple and complete steps to learn how to Hibernate your Windows 8 or 8.1 computer. Have a look on these steps very carefully and interactively-
  • First of all, click on the battery indicator and then click on More power options.

  • In the next screen click on Choose what the power button does.

  • Now, click on Change Settings that are currently unavailable.

  • Finally, check the Hibernate option to be added in the power options such as Shutdown, Sleep etc.

That’s all, the Hibernate option will be added to the menu of Windows 8 or Win 8.1 and after that you’ll be able to hibernate your Windows 8 or 8.1 PC very simply.

Now, after adding the hibernate option to the Windows 8 or 8.1 power options, you will have to right click on the start button in Windows 8 or 8.1 and move cursor to Shutdown and sign out and then select Hibernate as shown in the following picture.
